DIESEL ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CALIBRATION ENGINEER (M/W)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Calibration of diesel engine management system to meet customer and legislative requirements (Including exhaust emissions, driveability, and on-board diagnostics)
Coordinates EMS development. Provides technical direction to support personnel. Concise reporting of EMS calibration development results
Evaluates EMS on vehicles or components on test. Evaluates algorithms to support component specific requirements, or new customer / legislative requirements
Participates in development trips, group meetings and design reviews
Stays abreast of new technologies and market environment
REQUIREMENTS
MANDATORY
Major in Mechanical engineering
Automotive Diesel engine knowledge
Analytical and physical thinking process
Experience / education in engine, and combustion controls calibration
Experience / education in emission control technology and calibration
Fluency in English required.
Fluency in either German, or French language
ASSET
Demonstrates ability to work with others.
High level of competence in the use of computer based data acquisition Tools
Willingness to travel for extended periods to support seasonal development
Oral and written communication skills.
