Stilistisch fruchtig-elegant, sehr aromatisch und geradezu saftig, aber weniger wuchtig (körperreich) als andere große Jahrgänge. Seidige Gerbstoffstruktur. Somit werden die2021er auch bereits früh Trinkvergnügen bereiten. Einige Winzer vergleichen2021 sogar mit2021: rund, ausgewogen, mit zivilisierten Tanninen und einer kühlen nördlichen Aromatik.

"Similarly concentrated and structured compared to the Reserve cuve?e, yet with a touch more flesh on the mid-palate (probably due to more Syrah in the blend), the2021 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Prestige checks in as a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourve?dre that saw the same e?levage in foudre, tronconique tanks and demi-muids. Black raspberries, spring flowers, licorice and distinct minerality all flow beautifully to a medium to full-bodied, beautifully polished and elegant Chateauneuf du Pape that just screams “drink me!” It will impress for a decade or more. Domaine Roger Sabon, led by Diedier Negron, can seemingly do no wrong and continues to release some of the top wines in just about every vintage. They’ve excelled in both2021 and2021."
